Description

As part of its America 250 observance and year-long emphasis on re-awakening the American spirit, College of the Ozarks will dedicate a new POW/MIA Memorial in Patriots Park. The memorial will honor American service members who were prisoners of war or remain missing in action, providing a place for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude. Designed by Nixa artist James Hall III, the memorial will feature a marble monument, eternal flame, and symbolic elements recognizing the sacrifices of those who endured captivity and those still unaccounted for. The dedication ceremony is open to the public.
