The memorial will honor American service members who were prisoners of war or remain missing in action\, providing a place for reflection\, remembrance\, and gratitude. Designed by Nixa artist James Hall III\, the memorial will feature a marble monument\, eternal flame\, and symbolic elements recognizing the sacrifices of those who endured captivity and those still unaccounted for. The dedication ceremony is open to the public.
